Craft Demonstration for Christmas|
Friday, the Clemenceau Heritage Museum will have a craft demonstration just in time for Christmas. Betty Gaudy and her Santa helpers will be on site to teach folks how to make translucent stars to hang in windows. These stars are made of paper and can be formed into many sizes, shapes, and colors. These make great gifts. All materials needed will be provided by the Museum. This is a fun project and available for everyone at no cost. This will be held at the Clemenceau Heritage Museum from 1 to 3 p.m. at 1 N. Willard St. Call for further information, (928) 634-2868.

Holiday Contra Dance|
Swing your partner and tap those toes at the annual Holiday Contra Dance on Saturday. They will have one of Arizona's favorite contra bands: Updraft, featuring fiddle, piano, and mandolin with calling by Judy Zeidel from Phoenix.
The dance is held at the Cottonwood Civic Center, 805 N. Main St. in Old Town Cottonwood. Beginners are always welcome and should be sure to come to the pre-dance lesson at 6:30; the regular dance is 7 to 10 p.m. No partner or experience is necessary. Please bring a snack to share if you can. Cost is $7 per dancer, $5 for students, and $4 for those 16 and under. SIFF hosts new holiday film 'The Christmas Candle' |
The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of a new holiday film from the U.K.: "The Christmas Candle" on Tuesday and Wednesday. There will be two shows each day at 4 and 7 p.m. at the festival's Mary D. Fisher Theatre.
From bestselling author, Max Lucado, "The Christmas Candle" is a timeless holiday film for the entire family. Tickets are $12, or $9 for Film Festival members. Art demo of etching|
Award-winning artist Neil Rizos has been selected to present a printmaking demonstration at White Hills Gallery, at 325 S. Main St. in downtown Camp Verde, on the night of their holiday party Saturday, starting at 5 p.m. During the presentation, Rizos will offer a brief history of etching and demonstrate the process using his printing press.

Tapping Party in Boler's Building|
From 5-7 pm on Saturday, is relive a piece of history at the historic Boler's building, 325 S. Main St., Camp Verde. The Verde Brewing Company will host a tapping party for the anticipated launch of their new beers, the Gold Buckle Beer and the Mesquite ESB.
White Hills Winery & Gallery, located inside the Boler's Building, will join the Verde Brewing Company in hosting the Tapping Party. Along with great tasting beer, there will be wine available to taste and the gallery's current exhibit, The Mini Show, will be on display. In addition to beer, art, and wine, The Horn Restaurant will provide hors d'oeuvres.

|Angels giving gifts to seniors|
|The Giving Angels and Verde Valley Caregivers Coalition have announced a collaboration to reach more Verde Valley seniors in their holiday giving endeavors in 2013.|
VVCC Executive Director Kent Ellsworth and Giving Angels President Janice Dahl announced that the organizations will jointly give more than 700 seniors holiday gifts with the generous help of donors from Sedona, Cottonwood and the Verde Valley.
