We have seen dogs come in recently that are covered with ticks and fleas. Even the products we purchase from Pharmaceuticals haven’t taken care of the problem totally.

Last week I heard an alarming rumor from one of my coworkers. I was told that Yavapai County didn’t renew their contract with the Verde Valley Humane Society.
Right away I was asked if it angered me and the board of directors. Angered? The word shocked better described our feelings.

Back in 1989 I had the pleasure of visiting Phoenix for the first time while driving my mother and her friend to Las Vegas.
As we hit the big city all of a sudden the sky opened and a torrential downpour began. It happened so fast that the water was backing up in the streets and soon traffic was at a standstill.
