2010 Verde Pride Awards: Educator of the Year
Still in his first year as superintendent of Mingus Union High School District, Tim Foist impressed the Verde Pride Award selection committee of the Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce enough to be picked as Educator of the Year. The committee was impressed with Foist's initiative in taking on some difficult projects.

Lori Mabery is no novice to Verde Valley tourism. As the point person for one of the largest tourist attractions in Cottonwood, Blazin'M Ranch, there has always a keen interest in attracting visitors. In recent years, Mabery has also has led the Cottonwood Chamber board and its Tourism Committee.
