VERDE VALLEY – The construction industry continues to wallow through the recessionary cycle across the Verde Valley, with glimmers of hope in some sectors.

Reports from Yavapai County’s Planning and Building Office in Cottonwood showed two starts of single family homes in July, worth a total of $489,000 plus a one manufactured home at $60,000.
